The U. S. D. A. offers a variety of programs for sharing the costs for installing center pivot, drip and other efficient forms of irrigation.

This organization regulates well spacing and issues permits for new wells in a 15-county area.

This group operates under the auspices of the Texas Water Development Board and is responsible for water planning in a 21- county area. This group can provide data about surface and underground water availability.
